Frets stop the string from vibrating when bending more than a half tone. This happens from the 10th fret and up. Ive had it set up, but the guy who did it said Ive got a "problem guitar". I havent lost hope though. Thinking it might be the neck, but Im no guitar tech. So please help me out if youve got a clue!

Was the guy a professional?? If so he doesn't sound like he was very much help! He should be able to identify the problem for you - instead of stating the obvious.
