Thank you all for your help. I am kind of figuring this out in stages and am working on getting photos taken and put in photobucket to post. Thanks all for staying with me.

I have disassembled it.

Thaus you are right, this body is not original.....it is NOT alder that's for sure. This turns out to be a a Partsocaster. I did buy it with my fingers crossed as to what it was (60's Classic) and had few and poor pictures to go on but, whatever, I took a chance and did get it cheap enough to part out (sell). The neck is REAL nice and 7.5 radius is a little hard to come by so if I do sell I should get a pretty good $ for that anyway.
