I have got the jury duty summons 7 times in the last 10 years. I always had a reason to opt out but I finally served a couple of months ago. Two weeks later I got another jury summons, I got out of that by already serving within the last calender year. $15 dollars a day to serve on a jury, my work would not pay me, wish I had worked that day. I just sat in a room for 8 hours waiting to be called in for a case and never did.
