Generally speaking, it seems (to me at least) that the American Deluxe doesn't get all the fanfare it deserves. Seems the idea of once going up the latter past an Am Std. Strat that signature, vintage and custom shops get more focus.
This thread is a validation that the American Deluxe is worthy of more praise.
