I can't remember. Thanks if you can help
I have a couple of strats with the Kluson locking tuners which look like your everyday vintage tuners but instead of that hole at the top, they have what looks like a flat-head screwdriver head. You turn this to loosen the string and tighten when you want to lock it. Seems to work for me........I also have a strat with Sperzel locking tuners and they have more mass which may or may not affect the tone!! (ask Eric Johnson!!). I like locking tuners but I also really dig the vintage kluson-type. Not crazy about the more modern Fender tuners even though they do work but the feel is different. (may be the gear ration??)
