Gorgomyte!

Gorgomyte Fret And Fingerboard Conditioner

I am surprised more do not know of and use this now that GHS distributes it and it's at major retailers.

This cleans like abrasives without being as abrasive and doesn't soak with oils yet leaves the wood in superb shape.

FWIW: Two luthiers I respect said many will use too much oil over time and it can be less than ideal for a refret job. I'm not a professional or expert in that area but can say Gorgomyte cloth did an amazing job cleaning up a used guitar I bought and I did a cleanup of two rosewood fretboard guitars at about same time and the one with popular guitar lemon oil product was dull and dirty faster.
