I was never a big fan of the WIDE string spacing on the Hamer Daytona strats, otherwise I'd say those would be my favorite. I guess I would have to say a Hamer Slammer since that has been the only strat copy I have both played and liked. I think that was before they were sent off to be made in Korea, though. On the other hand, Korean guitars seem to have gotten a lot better in recent years.
I hear SX and Agile copies from RondoMusic can be great, and they are Korean made.
