Fender Stage 100 DSP - Any comments or advice

Looking to get my first Amp other than the small crappy one that came with my guitar. Looking at a Fender Stage 100 DSP (the full Amp, not the head). Anyone have one of these and could recommend? What do you think a current fair price to pay for one of these USED, but in excellent condition, would be?

Thanks for any advice.

Well, I've seen the combos sell for $225 - $350 in the past few months. About $50 less for the heads.

Do you need an amp for gigging? Otherwise, 100W (even in an SS amp) is going to be far too loud for home use, IMO...unless you live in a football stadium, of course.

I've had big amps and they were fun, but I've found that I get much more enjoyment out of smaller amps at home. Just my advice since it seems like you're new to the game.

Thanks for advice TexBiker. The one I am looking at is being listed at $310, so maybe I will try to offer somewhere between $200 and $300.

I do play some out of the house, which is why I am looking for something better than the Squire SP-10 amp that came with the guitar...I will probably keep the SP-10 for the sole purpose of playing and messing around at home. But I definitely want something that will sound better for playing with others and something that I could "grow and play" into...
