Well.......I ditched the Crate Flexwave and bought 2 more amps to mess with. Got the Bandit 112 downstairs......Peavy Envoy 110 at a friends house and a Vypyr 15 in my bedroom for those sleepless nights. When I get divorced I am gettin a Fender 65 Twin Reverb Guitar Combo Amplifier at AmericanMusical.com

I'm a recent solid state amp convert. I used solid states as a kid because it's what I could afford, and when I got a bit older I went through 5 or 6 tube amps because they were what I thought I should be using.
Don't get me wrong, tube amps can sound absolutely fantastic, but I've now realised that because my sounds are so effects based (ambient delays and reverbs etc), soild state amps just work better for what I'm doing right now.
I run in stereo, a Peavey bandit 112 (red stripe ' Delta' model) and a Fender Studio 85 (red knob 'Johnny Greenwood' model.
I run all my dirt etc into the front end of the peavey, then from the effects loop I split to stereo for the delays and reverbs and take one cable back to the Peavey's return, and the other to the Fender's 'power amp in' socket. That way I get to use only the Peavey's pre-amp, so I control the tones and levels from just the one amp. WOrks like a charm

I started with a Roland Microcube and just bought a nice Fender Blues Junior. The Roland is great for portability, but the Fender just blows it away in every other category. Plus, I love the sounds/smells associated with tubes.

I know what you mean, that tube amp smell is great.
My Blues Jr is modified now with most of the Bill Machrone mods. That made a good amp even better.

I added the PRRI to my DRRI and Micro Cube. The Hod Rods (Bl. Jr., Delexe Celestion) are gone and not missed.
I know the PRRI is more money than the Blues Jr., but I only liked my Blues Junior when it was starting to cook and the Princeton is nice at all volumes and much richer as far as lower frequencies. I also played some high end amps and that made it's relatively (my Blues Jr.) higher price a non-issue.

Strat -> Dunlop Crybaby -> Boss DS-1 Distortion -> Ibanez Tube Screamer -> Boss CH-1 Super Chorus -> Boss DD-3 Digital Delay -> Fender Blues Jr. Amp.
No home pictures unfortunately, but here's a picture of the amp:
I tend to always have the DD-3 on, and switch between using the DS-1, tube screamer, or CH-1 depending on what I'm playing. Rarely will I have the DS-1+CH-1 activated simultaneously, it just sounds over-processed for my tastes. The amp isn't huge but it suits my purposes (I live in an apartment with noise restrictions) and has a nice tone.

My tone monster-1965 Bassman. Starts smokin at about 5 on the dial. I'm running a pair of 12F150 Webers in the cab.

Tubes smell! Crap......my wife won't like that. Guess I am stuck with another SS. I am fine with what I have but I would like to get one with all the effects and a phone jack. I keep my roland cube and a 10 watt Crate Flexwave at my at my grand kids house for her lessons. I also keep a Peavy Envoy at my budddies house....he is just gettting back into playing and can not afford a guitar and amp yet. He wants to buy the Peavy. That got me into looking for another amp. .......another case of Gas.

Hmmmm....
'62 Fender Pro
'64 Twin Reverb
'65 Bassman w/2 12" cabinet
'66 Showman w/1 15" JBL cabinet
'66 Deluxe Reverb w/JBL
'66 Super Reverb
'68 Bassman w/ 1 15" cabinet
'72 Deluxe Reverb
'80 Marshall JMP 100watt
'81? Super Twin...
My favorite amp is a Torrez Reverb King with a 15" Jensen. This thing sounds like a hot rodded tweed with reverb so thick you can walk through it.

Either a '73 vibro champ, a crate V18 112, or one of my old silvetones that were yanked from old organs. The vibro champ is my favorite go-to amp.

All I've got right now is the Roland MicroCube. It sounds great, can even run on batteries and is ultra portable.
Here's a picture, demonstrating the weight and portability.
I'd consider it, in some ways, to be the ultimate practice amp.
