Boss TU-2 Tuner
Z-Vex Super Hard On (custom painted)
Z-Vex Lo-Fi Loop Junky
Boss CS-2 Comp/Limiter
Ibanez CP9 Comp/Limiter
Analogman Boss GE-7 EQ
Robert Keeley Boss TR-2 Tremolo

Electro Harmonix Switchblade
Ernie Ball Volume Pedal

I have no set path for the rig as they're all for recording and reamping as opposed to gigging, so stuff just gets connected in the right order depending on what I'm working on. So I suppose it's more of a "pedal drawer" than a "pedal board."

Finally, if an Electro-Harmonix DRM32 counts as a "pedal" then I've got one of those too.

It changes a lot.

Now?

Pod 2.0 for recording or late night jamming.

other than that:

- CS-3 Compressor
- ToneBender MKII Professional
- Tech21 Tri-AC with ch 1)slight boost ch 2)Brit crunch ch 3)Boogie crunch
- MXR Phase-90
- Boss RV-3 Delay Reverb

Sometimes I'll throw in a Vox 846 Wah, a DOD volume pedal, a Guyatone Env filter
or even loop in an old Korg PANDORA set for just Modulation/EQ/and tome-space effects.

The delayed Vibrato in the Pandora is KILLER especially with a slap Echo and a LONG mellow reverb.
It's amazing how good the little pandora sounds, even these days.

Strat/Tele > Pedalboard > '66 Bassman 2x12 combo (custom) or Crate/Palomino V16 (w/mods)

Pedalboard chain is: wah > comp > chorus > tuner > boost > dist > od > boost > digital delay > analog delay

Strobostomp->LPB->MXR Supercomp->BBII->DD3->EH Wiggler

BBII has to go, though. I just can't find an overdrive I like.

BBE Wah > Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret > Danelectro Transparent OD > Danelectro Cool Cat Drive > Hardwire Valve Distortion > MXR Classic 108 Fuzz > Ibanez FL-9 > MXR Carbon Copy Delay > Voodoo Lab Tremolo

I'm becoming a bit of a dirt box whore, so I might sell the Hardwire. We'll see.

I also have a footswitch for the Fat Switch on my Blues Jr, which I use a lot, so it's almost like having another pedal on my board.

I sometimes gig just plugged straight in to the amp...and often it's with an Esquire. Get a good sound and then play the way I would with an acoustic, ie, using what I've got.

But sometimes I'll use a couple of pedals. I've a small board with a Dano CoolCat Transparent Overdrive, then a Korg PitchBlack tuner and then a Biyang AD8 analog delay...all powered with a Voodoo Lab power thingy. Most of the time I'm just straight through to the amp though.

That's it.

Here's what they call "a minimalist approach" Sometimes I put a Wah and a TU-2 in the line, but this generally covers everything I need.

Digitech RP-3. It's compact, tough, programmable, and bright yellow. I probably use about 3% of it's capabilities: tuner, distortion (mellow and high-gain), and the volume pedal.

I had lots of pedals in the late eighties, got tired of all the hassle and realized they don't make up for my lack of talent.

I used a line 6 Flextone with a fbv shortboard but it is so heavy to carry around so I just got a fender 65w frontman as it is a quarter of the weight for small gigs. I am now on the lookout for a decent multi fx to put thru it. Any suggestions?

Strat or Tele into A/B box (DIY)
A > Planet Waves Pedal Tuner
B > Dunlop 535Q Wah
Dano Cool Cat Drive
DCC Transparent OD
DCC Distortion
Visual Sound Rt 66
Peavey ValveKing 112

Effects loop send > DCC Vibe > Dano Fab Echo > Efffects loop return.

I use a Visual Sound One Spot power adapter and two 5 drop cables to power them all and their all installed on a pedal board that I built.
