Web page very wide, font very small
Hi,
The web page is too wide to fit on my 12-inch laptop and the font is a lot smaller than on the TDPRI. I didn't know if that's intentional, but thought I'd let you know.
I'm running this on Netscape 7.1 on a Mac G4 12-inch powerbook with Mac OS 10.3.9.

I have also noticed that the letters are very small on this forum. It ofcourse isn't a big problem to resize it (I use firefox), but then I would have to keep resizing every time I enter or leave this forum.

The page fits better, though I don't notice a font size change. It still seems about 2/3 the size of the TDPRI, for instance. As an example, in filling in this reply, the font is small enough that letters don't always have enough pixels to fully resolve themselves--there about the equivalent of 6-7 point type.

I raised all the fonts up one full size. Though you are right about the post input box. Of course part of the problem is that you are working on a 12" LCD monitor with that laptop.
I have othre users on 21" monitors with high resolution and its a dance between the extremes.
I'll do the best I can.

Posts too wide?
Originally, every post was too wide to fit on my 17" monitor. I changed the board style in my profile to "subSilver," and now everything fits.
Hope this helps.

No sorry, You can't change the board style. Well, you can but it won't change anything. I fixed this width problem about a week ago by altering some tables. The Subsilver style is just there on the list because it was the default when I first installed the software. But it's of no use here. You can go back and forth but you won't see any changes.

Maybe it's possible to either enlarge the font in the posting or change the color from grey to black like in the quote boxes, so it would be easier to read?

+1
I agree with Hans-Jürgen on this one. The black font on white background of the quotes is significantly easier to read than the grey font against the light blue background of standard posts.
