Posting music and pictures?

I cannot post pictures because they are to big, I try and make it smaller but it is still over the limit.

Also, how do I post music? What should I use to post music? Is there a size limit?

Thanks!

Tony, I was in an original band many years ago and we made a cd with some ok songs on it. What site would you recommend posting on if the band is now defunct?

Reduce your photos to no more than 800x600, save as a .jpg file, then open with Paint and save. Paint saves files in a much more compact form than most dedicated photo programs. My photo software saves an 800x600 .jpg file at about 400kb. Opening that file in Paint and then clicking on save reduces the file to typically around 80kb.

I have music on Soundclick and myspace, both free or you can pay some money on soundclick and get higher bitrate uploads. Soundclick is better for linking individual tunes.

Rufe Dude, I have used a free program called photofiltre for several years now and it works great for adjusting photos for posting on forums. Just right click on the photo you've loaded and go to image size, you can adjust it and see if the size is usable in the forum.
Another thing I use is a Photobucket account-also a free program-it will let you post pictures numerous time, the attachments on line will usually only let you post it once. I have about 2 hundred photos as well as some videos on my Photobucket site.
I use soundclick for my music posts as well, it doesn't compress the songs as much as MySpace will.
Here is the link to photofiltre--
PhotoFiltre - Download
