Hopefully it will pick up as word gets out. I think our site-admin is doing a great job and that there is a ton of potential here.

This site will be one month old tomorrow. We have nearly 1,000 posts and 300 members in one month's time. I was at a Strat site a couple of weeks ago that had been going for nearly 3 years and had only 420 members.

It can take years for a website to gain traction. Let's hope that it will continue to grow. I'm working on it, but it's not just up to me.

Hey I guess thats pretty good progress! I agree that this is one of the most well put together sites I've seen, you've done good work! I also have been trying to help the cause.

Yeah. I frequent a couple of forums that are still slow, some of them being a year old. This one has gained a considerable amount of momentum already. I'm thoroughly impressed with the whole site.

I was about to make this same post. Compared to TDPRI this site is just snail-paced, where are all the strat enthusiasts? or is it just so common and cliche to love a strat that it doesn't require a forum, that a strat is the one guitar you can talk to anyone about, anywhere.

Regardless we need some resident experts to perk up, and make this site a place of valuable, factual information. I mean I was just reading a thread that took 5 months for someone to finally respond to.

It's up and down here. December was up, but January is down.

It's catch-22 -- more people post when there are more people posting.

I came across this website a few months ago. I didn't join right away because I did not acquire my very first Made in USA Fender Strat until recently. If no one responds to my postings, I don't know how long I'll stick around. I will spread the word though.

Yup, it's true. Things can get a little slow around here. But, such is life. The more folks we have the more action there is. We do post, and although replies can be a little slow, there are replies.

Like many others here, this isn't the only forum that I post on or read. There is an excellent telecaster discussion page that I read every day. There is an excellent strat sub forum there. However, I decided that this is my go to forum for all things Stratocaster.

For you guys that are brand new here, hang out for a while and give us a chance. I think that you will find that there is a really great bunch of Strat pickers and players here with a whole lot to offer.

Cheers,

Bob

Hopefully I've been doing my part since jumping over from the TDPRI where I'd been since October 2003. My mainstays are Strats so it just makes good sense for me to be committed here. Well, not necessary committed as-in a State-hospital, but you know what I mean! LOL!

You and me both Stratden! I for one probably should be committed but we'll leave that conversation for another time! This forum is really picking up and I for one enjoy coming here each day!

You bet, Thaus! I enjoy your insight in your posts here. In time I'm sure we'll have many more Strat enthusiasts finding their way here which can only add to the depth of conversations here.
