Greetings from the frozen north
Hi All
I'm a Strat nut - basically.
I've been playing on and off for years but working on it for four as I have the time now. Clapton, SRV, BB King, Derek Trucks, are who I listen to regularly.
I own a bunch of strats, some of them rare and I play ever one of 'em. I like a humbucker now and then but for the most part I play strats.
Thinking of getting into bass, just for the hell of it.
Just wanted to say hi!

Welcome. It seems we have similar musical interests. I've been addicted to te Crossraods 2007 DVD far a while now. I've seen BB 3 times and Clapton once. I think Derek Trucks is so far beyond the pack its unreal. Anyway, Welcome Welcome.

Yeah. I don't know anyone that seems to be as original as Derek Trucks. Saw him last year.
How embarassing is this? When I heard his latest cd I went and bought 5 more and gave them away to people more or less at random. |

Don't have pics of them all. I posted one of my favs yesterday in some thread about green guitars. Always had a thing for green.
Its posted in "Show your green strat" post #48 on the second page
1962 Sherwood Green
all original (meaning not refinished although some don't believe it)
I play this pretty regularly although I realize that many would kill for it.
