    I am wandering how this pickguard would look on an cv 50'.

    I think it would look better on the 60's Strat vs the 50's... The Rosewood Neck helps darken things up a bit which is part of the reason I like the Tortoise Shell but with a Maple Neck I'm not to sure how it would look.

    Regardless thou... To each their own. If you think it will look good then do it!

    You are right Jefro.
    I mounted a black ( matt ) pickguard 1 ply and I am not sure I will keep it.
    White is decent and original.
    But the rosewood neck does the diference.
