Update D Allen pickups

Well if you guys remember a few weeks ago I posted a thread about how I had been working with member Dshillhouse and his new line of pickups that he is developing. Well this weekend he took the products to NAMM. He asked me to tag along and demo his pickups, but unfortunately I couldn't get out of work, so I sent my friend will he is an amazing player! Anyway Here are some vids and sound samples I recorded

Thank you Yogi. We had a GREAT time at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville. It looks like my pups were well recieved. I might do a Special for Strat and Squier Talk members soon. I appreciate all the help from members here and look forward to helping you bring tone to life

I had wondered what happened to Dshillhouse on Squier-talk, nice to finally see some pups come out of it.

Will look forwards to those member specials, thanks.

I met Dave at NAMM and enjoyed his pickups. Hopefully will get some pickups for my MIM Strat. Dave I believe you said your website would be up in the next week or so right? Thanks!

Yeah these pickups are the real deal. I put them in a VM squier and man these pickups really shine. Will performs atleast 3-4 nights a week and has done session work, and he came back from Nashville talking about how much he loved these PUPs

Don't quote me for sure, but I believe the price he was looking at was in the $100-130 mark for sets, and a little less expensive for the sets without fiber bobbins and cloth wiring, but I'd Let David comment on the exact prices.

I hope to have my website up this upcoming week. I asked the moderators here how/if I can give a special price to the Strat-Talk and Squier-Talk members. I will let you know when they repley. Or you can email me at dallenpickups@gmail.com these are custom shop pickups hand made except for a computer run winder that I like because the program emulates a certain persons hand winding without the error factor. Fiber Bobbins, USA vintage cloth wires, Lacquer dipped, Hand wax potted, fabic taped. I just finished my tele line and I am working on Humbuckers and Bass now.Not sure if I can post all this infor here My apologies if this is incorrect. Just email me for product details and price If you have an interest.
Many thanks to those who answered my questions. I appreciate this forum and a few like it.

Best of luck on this venture, it seems like a killer thing to market!

YA know I didn't mind Yogi's clips , but I thought the second Namm clip sounded bad! IMO the fellows playing style may have ruined the sonic capabilities.
I heard more pick and fret nosie than notes/ chords being played.

It is hard to record anything at NAMM it is so loud there and the guy across kept comming over and complaining to us. He was selling some type of promo thumb drive nothing to do with music. William is a great player and he is going to meet with Yogi so they can make some new video and sound files. Those clips were done on an older Canon point and shoot camera too. I really had to rush to make the NAMM show and will be better prepared in the future.

Not much better its his stlye and the noise etc. in the back ground.
I am sure he is a good player , alot of good players in the world but there is a difference between good and liked . I don't like that style I guess . IMO my thoughts have nothing to do with the Quality of the pickups yopu make. IMO that persons style does not fully reflect the true full sonic capabilities of your product. All sound the same to me a sound i am not into. Others probably are !.

Guys,
I asked the forum folks and they said I may not offer any specials to members here through the forum as it in their eyes would be promoting my business which is not allowed. I want to continue to be part of this forum so I want to do as they ask.
So any interested member please contact me directly and we can discuss off from the forum.

I stopped the video wheen the guy across came over to complain we were to loud. Will did not flip him off but it looked like it. This guy was trying to sell some type of promotional thumb drive at a NAMM show? We were allowed to play at 85db's and we were not even close to that or you would not hear all the background noise. He kept coming over and complaining so I went to the NAMM officials and they stopped him.
But it is so funny to watch back now.
I will be at the NashvilleAMPExpo August 21/22 and we will have our own suite to play in so I will get some better quality video/audio files. Also I have some new pups. I think I have a set close to JM's I have tried a number of combo's and have one I like.
