Jeff Beck fans take notice

Jeff's new DVD, "Live at Ronnie Scott's" is finally available. Great guests include Eric Clapton, Joss Stone Imogen Heap. I don't know about the rest of you but for me Jeff is the Strat God.

The BBC show didn't have the full DVD set. The DVD has the same as the CD plus all the guest numbers. The Blueray version has all that and the one off rockabilly set which was excellent even if you don't normaly listen to that stuff. Pity is wasn't on the DVD, maybe on a future re-release I hope. I have heard that the DVD sound mix is better than the CD.

Incidently there's a JB interview in this months (UK) Guitar & Bass mag.

I've seen this before on the BBC show but as you say it didn't show the full concert. I'd love to hear the rockabilly set is there anything on you tube about that.

I doubt it's on Youtube because this is its first outing. There are bootlegs of it around. It was the Friday night gig of his short residency, I was lucky enough to be there, Jeff looked like he enjoyed it more than the main set, grinned all the way through.

Jeff digs rockabilly in the vein of Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps.
His idol is Cliff Gallup.Gene's guitarist.
Probably why he was having such a ball.
