50th Anniversary Reunion

Are any UK members going to see the Cliff Richard/Shadows reunion concert later this year.

Could be the last time this happens and should be a memorable gig for those who were turned onto strats in the early days of UK rock 'n roll.

This is were the Fiesta Red controversy also started.

I'd really like to go but sadly it would work out to be too expensive, what with the travelling, hotel, tickets etc..

Think I'll wait until its on TV or YouTube

Hope you have a good time, it should be brilliant

Hi StratmanNick

Guess it would be quite pricey, what with all the extra costs. I'd think twice about it but as this is a one off for me I'm booked.

I'm lucky in that I only live about a 45 minute drive from the O2, so I can get there and back same evening.

I have a childhood friend whom I haven't seen for 40 odd years coming over from Oz so there's going to be more than one reunion.

Can't wait!

Sounds cool! From what I have read lately, Hank is still in top form. He shouldn't have loaned that Fiesta Red strat out all those years ago..........wonder if the original will make it on stage!!??

I should think it could well, as Bruce Welch plays it a lot these days on stage. He did use it a few months ago at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen and I've seen him use it at the Shadowmania performances.

Hank is branching out into gypsy jazz with a trio over in Oz and there's some footage of this somewhere on You Tube.
