Best and worst super bowl shows
I thought Paul McCartney sounded fantastic when he did it.
The Stones were the absolute worst. I expected more from them.

Springstein sounds like an old drunk doing karaoke. Prince, the Who, were great, the Stones were alright. Macca was Macca can he do anything wrong?

The Who was amazing, lamentably in my country there was audio problems. NSYNC was cool, loved them when I was that age.

Agreed. And as my wife pointed out, there were (fortunately) no "wardrobe malfunctions" in this one.
BTW, did anyone notice Zak Starkey does a passable Keith-Moon-octopus-on-speed bit on the drums?

I was at the Georgia Dome in 2000 for the Superbowl. The half-time show "Tapestry of Nations" was one of the most bizzare things I've ever seen. The music entertainment was Phil Collins, Christine Aguilera and Toni Braxton. Pure torture!

Picture a Floyd medley. They'd have to extend half time and give the audience some reefer.

I don't remmber their's very much, but I'm a pretty big fan. I can actually cop some if the solos they do. I can relate to Mike Campbells lack of chops but still coming up with the goods. Thats kind of what I aspire to.

I vote for The Who this year. I thought Pete's guitar sounded better than ever and the light show was simply amazing. Plus, we won the game! Who could ask for anything more?
