George Harrison Squier "Silver Series" did he really own/use one?

I came across this description on eBay for a Silver Series .. could this be true..any one heard of this before?

"This is a rare and sought after '90s MADE IN JAPAN model that has that all-important 'Silver Series' stamp. The 'Silver Series' models are known to be top end Squiers made from better quality components (for example: 'Gotoh' machineheads) than the 'Standard' Squiers of the time. This was the Stratocaster model adopted by none other than George Harrison (of Beatle fame!) from the mid-'90s until his sad, untimely demise."

It's true alright! (sold for a huge sum of money at auction, but I can't remember the exact amount). He also had a '57 Export Squier JV Strat (factory fit 1982 / 83 Fullerton pickups), and there's a youtube video to prove it.

That clip kicked a**! I remember seeing it years ago before I really obsessed on what everyone was playing. Great eye 'Ape! And how about Clapton slinging a Les Paul on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" just like he did on the record?! Cool!

Phil Collins on drums...oh.

I have always liked George probably the best Beatle..imo, as without his vocal harmonies and his guitar playing their would not be that "Beatle" sound. Now I know he owned Squier's too.. fantastic! Awesome youtube clip by the way..

I'm sure lots of top players have used Squiers. I know Dave Murray of Iron Maiden has played some.
