My old Squire Stagemaster
My wife posing with my old Squire Stagemaster guitar that I had bought new for $150. It was a nice quality guitar with floyd rose tremelo, humbucking pickups, 24 frets, and the reverse headstock was really a cool touch too! I later traded it in to get a $100 off the more expensive Fender Standard Stratocaster with single coil pickups but I still do miss it. Does anyone here play one?
Here is another shot with me playing it.

There was a guy selling one near me, he only wanted £80 for it. It was finished in Jack Daniels style.

Squier was making some progressive models in the late 90s and early 2000s. Wikipedia stated that there was also a set neck Stagemaster. I have a 2001 Korean Dbl Fat Tele Deluxe which has a very nice set neck with jumbo frets and 16" radius. The Stagemasters look to be Taiwanese made and have a cool modern vibe to em.

I used to own a 7-string black stagemaster. It was a very nice guitar. I bought it because I love Strats and I wanted to try a 7-string guitar. I sold it last winter because a seven string was just not for me. But it was an impressive guitar. Especially for the price.

Squire stagemster lover
Hi Steve,
I too own a Squire Fender Stagemaster. It's a great guitar and its sad that they don't make them anymore. It's got a very comfortable neck and a very workable tremolo. I bought mine in mint condition for 280 Euros which is something like 310 USD.
I've got a a question for you. Are you Greek in ancestry? If you are, that will make double the thrill. I am from Athens Greece but I was educated in the states back in the eighties. I love guitars (especially old ones) and the blues. I don't think I could live without my guitars and the blues music.
Take care,
Dimitris
