Thanks guys...

Here is something interesting.

I was cleaning out the box and making sure nothing was left inside...I

found a 'source' label ...

The Axe was shipped from the Fender Distribution Center in Ontario,Ca.

to the Musicians Friend Dist Center in Kansas City,Mo.

Woodwind and Brasswind is where I ordered it...

WWBW,GC,Musicians Friend... all seem to be the same company despite the name

I smell the Borg

I spent some time yesterday fiddling with the bridge saddle heights

and now have a buzz-free fretboard with a fairly low

action to boot.

It all balanced out pretty well.

Also added 2 springs (for a total of 5) to disable to tremolo.

Its a really nice instrument

Yeah, even Music 123 is part of the same combine. same warehouse in KC.

Glad you like yours. I'm digging mine, but I did put a big fat neck with smaller frets on there New tuners, new nut, straplocks, a Chimemaster bridge assembly from Glendale Guitars and hardened Callaham bridge mount screws but yeah, I like mine, too.

Oh, base plate. Thinking about a 4 way switch and converting the 2nd tone dial to blend an un-tone-controlled middle pickup in over a neck and/or bridge with the neck and bridge being RWRP towards each other.
