GHS Boomers - Nickel plated steel - 10 to 38. They are brighter than plain nickel and seem to be more even feeling when playing from wrapped strings to plain steel strings.

Elixir 10's. Pricey but feel/sound great for 4 times longer than any I have tried. I tried a set and haven't changed brands since. I put elixirs on both my acoustics and electrics. Which reminds me I need to pick some up tomorrow.

D'addario 11's, cuz they are the only strings that I can find in packs of 10 here in Sweden ;) And 11's cuz they feel great and gives you a little resistance.

This exactly, all my other guitars have ernie ball 11s on, strat has 3150L because they feel so good and smooth!

D'Addario EXL120+ (9.5s) My old hands can't handle 10's on a strat anymore. 9's are too light. These are a good compromise.

Anyone know something about the Martin Guitars Darco strings? Just asking because I can order them for about $3. Used to paying about $10 for strings but I can't imagine there is that much of a different in quality.

I often think people over think it too much when it comes to string.

Darco are fine. I used their phosphor bronze acoustic sets for years.

D'Addario's give a slightly puncher tone and last a little longer. Ernie Ball's are slightly warmer and can tone down a trebly Strat. Fender strings do not last but the bullets work better for the trem. DR and Markley are nice quality strings that feel good.
