acrlic lacquer from rattle cans

hi just thought id put some pics of my ash body iv just finneshed rubbing out. this is the result from 8 cans of acrlic lacquer brand hycote from ebay 2.10 a can 1.80 post. which is a good buy as it 4.99 in my local shop. didnt use grain filler hate the stuff old mans way of doing it lol. its took a month to do with waiting to harden then 1500 wet dry up to 2500 wet dry. then k3 rubbing compound then wax polish its like glass

8 cans!!!!!!!!!! Now that is a labor of love! and it's worth it. Congrats, you can play it with pride. I have a body just like it and it used an aluminum engine turned p.g. in black,
looks good and I swear it makes that ash body even more resonate.

Great Finish !!! I like the results, especially, the way the wood grain "jumps" out at you. good job.
