Let's SEE them BLUE STRATS!
Well Guys,
I've seen a few threads for other colors, just thought I'd
see how many different Shades of Blue were out there.
Heres my Blues Brothers!
Transparent Blue
Sapphire Blue
Chrome blue
Looking forward to some other Blue Guitar pics....
Take care!

I used to have a blue strat, but I gave it to my younger brother. It was a late-80's MIJ Squier. I changed the pups to give it a better tone, but I had a hard time keeping it in tune so I gave it to him. Recently, I was wishing I had it back since I think it could be a good guitar with a good setup and maybe a replacement tremolo. I didn't think he played guitar these days, so I asked if he still had it. He said he still had it and plays it regularly. He has bought and sold other guitars, but has always kept that Squier strat. He offered to give it back to me, but since he plays it I told him to hang onto it.

OK, I'll bite. This one started out life as a 1-pickup Bullet.

Had some time on my hands recently and decided to give her a makeover.

I'm actually thinking about going all the way nuts and building a Aerodyne in Flame Maple Blue. I want to use a set of Tapped Suer-Rock II USA Schecter pups in it. And see if I come across a Variax unit [just the unit] and a Fernandez sustainer. The add a 6DB Strat input jack boost that GFS is selling. Basically a mini toggle on the Football jack.
Sounds like a project hey? The Fender EC mid-boost is 25db, but I honestly never go past 2or3 on the dial. So I'm thinking the 6bd will work fine.

Thanks Strat Man,
It's actually one of my favorite guitars. It sounds really Phat and is one of the most comfortable
Strats I've played. You should look in to one, not extremely pricey either.

It sure is. I love and play all of my strats, each one has it's own distinct difference. I've been playing the American strat with the maple board most. It plays pretty awesome for an 18 year old guitar.
The black one is a 2007 Highway One, and the light blue is a 2006 60s Classic Players Strat. I got the CP & the MIA from a local pawnshop actually, and got great deals on both of them :D

I have a 2006 Anniversary Highway One in Daphne Blue.
I believe Fender discontinued that color and finish...so I cherish that thing...new as it is.

I LOVE the Transparent BLUE MIM Deluxe Finish. I could dig dropping the Shell PG Fender use's on it and going with an aged Pearloid. I'm surprized nobody has one on the forum. Killer finish on these Strats!

I couldn't agree more!
I'd ditch the pickguard as well for a differnet one. I love the combo of the transparent blue with the maple neck. I just have a strong dislike for gold hardware. I think I might be able to get over it though ;)
