Its been 2 years with my 57 reissue
While I've taken care of it, and been careful, 2 years of hard playing and playing out... This is the wear and tear its accumulated... I love it to Death! I guess i have a distinctive rhythm pattern ...Relic what?

I don't really care about the damage just a few paint chips, gives it character especially above the neck pickup

Nice...it will only get cooler with age.I own a 2000 AVRI 62 in sunburst that looks like it went through world war 4 and it looks awesome that way....dents,chips,worn to the wood spots and faded finish.

Very pretty. I played a '57 RI in surf green here about a month ago. Needless to say....I want. I'm jealous.

cheers! so do I, I cant stop playing her! the AVRI57 is the best strat I have ever played a professional instrument amazing tone and vintage feel and surf green just looks so good with that orangey maple neck  |

On one hand, its kinda cool that its got some natural wear patterns.
On the other hand, its a little disturbing that it hasn't held up very well for just 2 years of playing out.

well ill say that i play it everyday and i can be a hard player sometime, and have been drunk quite a few times lol... strap pops off and it fell ect., however there is not any dings in the neck....i have been careful about catching it before the neck hits |

That is one BEAUTIFUL Strat! Someday I will own an AVRI '57 as that is my dream guitar. Alas I will have to get my kids through college first. Luckily one is halfway through so [almost] one down and one to go!
Again, very nice guitar. I bet she sounds amazing.

Yeah. I'm not knocking it. I think it looks great! Honest wear beats that relic stuff hands down. Give it a couple MORE years, and it'll almost be broken in - Like a comfy pair of shoes.

I think in a few years it will look absolutely awesome. Now it's in the kind of in between state to where it's kinda beat up, in a decade or so if you keep playing it, it will look like a real 50s strat.
