Pickup routes on a 92 MIJ
Would a 62 RI MIJ Strat body have a humbucker route by the bridge?

I've only seen three different MIJ Strats, but they were all routed for singles.

Maybe the domestic market one with a maple neck ... not a true ReIssue. Other points would be the alnico pickups, and the kluson style tuners

Not sure what you're talking about. I was saying the three MIJ Strats I've personally seen were routed for three single coil pickups...with no humbucker rout in the bridge.

I went ahead and bought the guitar anyway. Its a disease I tell ya.
The r/w neck is chunky C. All blacked out except for white pickups, knobs and switch. Sorta Gilmore-ish. Says "made in Japan" ser# Q00784 on back of neck near body.
Pretty fiddle.
I am going to pull it apart and see whats up inside. I knew that it may not be all orig but I had to have it.
Does anyone think $450 was a rip off?
