Need an answer quickly, please
Guys,
I have a chance to buy an Agile Telecaster BODY ONLY, with Seymour Duncan pups, at a good price BUT I think somebody said that the Agile WILL NOT ACCEPT a regular Tele neck. Does anyone know for sure?
I really appreciate your help.

chuck- either get off the drugs, or go the **** away. you're worthless, mmkay...?
op-
an agile body will take a fender neck. there may be a gap, but that's normal, even with a fender neck body to body.

What kind of gap would you say is normal on fender guitars? Like the width of a playing card or index card?

I have necks that fit like gloves with no gaps but these are my own builds but my G&L ASAT has a small gap that will just sqeeze a credit card in on the bass side of the neck pocket, its hardly noticeable and doesnt effect anything.
A tele neck pocket is 2 3/16" wide 3" long and the depth is 5/8"

Or you could contact Agile about a neck that fits.

Thanks, guys, but somebody else bought the damned thing before I could go collect it. Oh, well, I have some maple that I'm seriously thinking of laminating and gluing up into a blank so that I might take a stab at building a Tele from scratch. If anybody has any plans or dimensions, I'd love to see them.
Thanks again,
Ray-Boy

GhostWolf were way cool. If I didnt bounce around all over the place I woulda known you'd sent me a pm and I woldnt have popped off myself.. Thanks your a good man and I'm glad to call you my friend. I've got way more stress in my life than I really know how to deal with. My 11yr old is about 6mos outta treatment for relaps lukemia and these forums are kinda my outlet to just cruse around help out where I can and be a goof. He's fine now and "they" say he's got about a 60% or a little better chance of it being gone for good. One day when I'm strong enough I'll share his and my story with yall kinda like Malikon did the other day but just now its still quite a bit bigger than I am.........chuck
