Sky Blue - Looks Mint Green ?

Guy says this is a "Sky Blue" finish & looks more blue in person.
His photos it appears more of a mint green to me, which I LOVE.
Anyone here know about these ?

I would most definitely say that it is on the greenish side as opposed to blue.

Cameras (especially digital) have a tough time with pastel colors. I take pics of my Jeff Beck in surf green and they look like puke. In person it's my favorite color.

Yeah, this is what's confusing about their color descriptions & photos.

Here is a Sky Blue, this looks blue to me

This is a Surf Green, looks green to me

So why do these photograph correctly, but not the one in my op ?

Isn't that Sky Blue Daphne Blue? I've bot heard of Sky Blue before. The one below looks like Seafoam Green.

This ^^^ Digital photos posted on the internet can throw the colour out completely. PM the seller and ask him about it.

faded daphne / sonic blue + yellowing will give you a mint green

I had a HWY 1 in Daphne & it appeared someone had applied a clear over it. It also had the pukey greenish hue to it.

indeed.
Depends on which clear you put on it.
"tinted" nitro to achieve an aged look exist in many shades.
If one wants it "pre-tinted", a very slight tinted should be used.

yellowing (blue going to green, red to orange red) is always there with nitro, even without UV light (window, sun)
fading (going to white) is there with lots of UV light

coming from daphne:
A blue (pukey) green is an old, covered guitar
A light green guitar is an old guitar that saw a lot of light.
A light blue guitar is an old guitar that saw a lot of light with a nitro that didn't yellow to much.

I suspect it has much more to do with the camera's white balance setting than with the guitar's color.

MY Pinky is muchlighter than my digital camera shows it to be. In all the pics of it it looks more hot pink than a pastel shade of pink which it is in person.

The second pic (Floating Pinky) is closer to how she really looks.

the "true" pink there is truly more beautiful too than the magenta pic (and your avatar)! ;)
I really don't like magenta on a guitar... Makes me think of red ones where the orange hues are all faded.
