This should be under Sidewinders. I suppose facebook could expand to stratters bands and fan sites and whatnot. Maybe bring in some new members. I've heard a rumor facebook my become a pay membership , anyone else hear this?

Peronally not a fan of the Facebook. What's the benefit of Strat-Talk having a page?

I don't mean to sound like a ***** and I really mean no disrespect (and, of course, it's not my call), but why do we want to bring new members to this site just for the sake of it?

I can't figure out how to make a page so ya'll have to do it! Anyway, i don't see anything wrong with that, but I can't really think of a reason to do it either. We've got everything we need right here!!

Well facebook is a good site to connect with people obviously, and i'm on it a lot, its my homepage haha.
Paying for it will not happen, its a rumor people get going around to scare people.
I'm not sure what creating a fanpage would do honestly. I feel as if it would bring in a lot of people/kids who think they are all bada55 ect.
But if you guys want i could create a group.

Just let me know.

Facebook? Ummm no! Maybe a twitter page? I will say this. From a business perspective, social networking is the next big wave. But right now, you google Fender stratocaster and strat talk is one of the first that comes up, so it's not like we're hard to find.

I ran "Stratocaster Forum" through Google search and this site was on the top of the list.

My bad. I saw what he said just before you posted. But ... "Fender Stratocaster" is not exactly a search criteria I would use to find a forum related to Stratocaster. Nevertheless ... TDPRI was in the 24th place.

And btw ... Strat-Talk was in 122nd place in that pic you posted.

irrelevant. location is most likely the reason for the drastic difference... or you are logged into your gmail (logged into google) account or the like when doing the searches..
