1980s Made in Japan Strat. Need parts!

Hello there!
I've got a made in Japan stratocaster, 2H version with System one trem. I want to restore the axe to mint condition, but it seems I'm missing a few parts from the system one trem. E-bay is proving frustrating with overpriced items and those last minute auction ninjas.
I thought I'd ask some fellow strat lovers if anyone had some parts they would be willing to part with. I'm looking for the locknut to go on the head, and either a used complete system one bridge or various parts that are missing from mine.
I've tried contacting the folks from fretsonthenet.com and stratconnection.com. They've not been much help. One guy said sorry about your luck and they other wants me to buy his "reconditioned" system one trem for $475.00. I just don't have that kind of cash laying around.
Please post or e-mail if you would be so kind as to help me restore my beautiful guitar at a reasonable price.
Thanks! Joe Rather.

I cant promise any kind of swift turnaround, or even that I'll find all the parts you seek, but I live in Yokohama Japan and frequent guitar shops (just went today!). So I figure Ive got as good a shot at finding parts for you as anyone else that doesnt work for Fender Japan.

Stay in touch. Post up pics of what you need so I know exactly what to look for.

Kuroyama I would be forever in debt if you find a whammy bar for a system III bridge. I might even go as far as buying the whole bridge if it must go together. I'm also missing one locking nut piece on the low E string again I might go as far as buying the entire locking nuts and handle. I been looking for the whammy bar for too long and I pretty much gave up and ended up making one at work.

Missing an "F" knob.

This is the condition of the bridge. It is playable, but I really would like to replace it completely.

Missing the top locknut.

Here's the guitar in its entirety!

it might be cheaper to have a metal finisher.strip the finish and rechrome it.they would .blast it with beads or walnut shells removes the finish but not the metal.look for restoration shops, machine shopsmaybe even a gunsmith.

+1 for metal stripping via chemical. Instead of refinishing... might be hot to blue it with Tru-Oil?
Talk about a gunmetal finish!!

Bridge

I have a sys one bridge. I'd sell it to you for $275. It's just the Bridge, nothing else.

I bought a second guitar that had a complete system III just in case I needed parts for my main axe that has a system III. It ended up getting stolen. I paid 800 for that guitar. Be careful where you leave you guitars.
