It sounded good too. I watched the whole show and they played Hendrix tunes at every break. The guitar got a lot of screen time. You know Fallon got to play it. He's an enthusiast and I bet they let him at least hold it. Not to mention the obligatory photos and videos for proof he got his hands on the guitar.
I was surprised to find myself feeling very nostalgic whenever the guitar was either being shown and/or played. It was weird to see it in righty dexterity.

would like to have maybe seen it on Conan's show since he does play, might have gotten a little more air time. Sadly it doesn't look correct being played in the right handed orientation. It lost the mystique that was Hendrix when he played it upside down. Bummer.

Not enough air time for my liking. They should have got rid of all those dumb guests he had on with their boring stories and just let Kenny jam by himself for an hour! Now that would have sent Fallon's ratings sky high!

I was just thinking wouldn't it have been cool to see Kenny come out right at the end when Fallon was going to sign off and for Venterns Day play the Star Spangled Banner on that strat!

That's the only reason I'd have watched his show! Is it available on the site now???

It really was a lot of tease. These marketers are getting slicker all the time. That was all about creating buzz for the tour and related merchandise.
Even though it was a big tease, I have to admit that I enjoyed what we did get.

It looks so....regular. It's in such good shape, it might as well be some reissue 70's Strat.

Knowing Jimi was pretty hard on his strats that amazed me too!

Here's the link of the show. The best/longest view starts around the 5:00 minute mark.
