Strat pick guard query
I'm fixin to get a Mint Green pickguard for my '06 American Delux. I see several on ebay. Fender '62 vintage...ect. Will these eleven hole jobbies fit my guitar. Or do I need to be careful and get just the right one? Year / model? Please advise.
I'd be inclined to go with Fender issue...even if more money. Thanks Lads!
Michael

If I remember correctly (which may not be the case) the screw positioning is different between the vintage Reissues and the contemporary

62's are their own 11 hole spacing.
usa and mexi classic 60's same same
8 holes are the same ( generally referred to as '57)
the other, new, non-vintage usa/mexi 11 holes are the same

A 62 will look like itll fit...and it will be close, but the srew just above the middle pickup is a lil more forward than the "American Standard pickguard".
62's also have recessed screws for the pickups. This is what you want @ $29
Dont forget the "aged white accessories"!

The aged white accessories have yellowed knobs, tips and pup covers...but the backplate is mint green.

Sprocket.....thanks for following up. Mine does have the aged white accessories, but the back plate is the same as the front pick guard. White Pearl. But heck....I could buy the set you mention here, and use that back plate...it IS Mint Green. Thanks for the link, my friend.
