stratocaster_super switch

Hi, i've just joined the group and already find it very informative. I was reading where someone named "deaf eddie" was discussing how to wire the stratocaster to get various pick-up combinations. I did the one he mentioned but i only have the basic tone controls working ( i connected the wire for the neck tone to the neck hot-wire and the middle tone to the middle hot-wire) i would like to be able to use the tone when using bridge pick-up by it's self. Oh! the wiring is B,BM,M,BN and neck. any help will be appreciated. Scott

I would recommend that you have a look through the wiring diagrams here

Guitarnuts.com

There are plenty of useful suggestions with good instructions.

Welcome, Scoto! Looks as if BOD2 has already given a helpful link. Let us know how you make out with the wiring.

Hi folks, i managed to get the super-switch installed and the pick-up selection i wanted working. Sounds real good. Could not figure how to get the tone on my bridge pick-up so i removed the tone from the middle pick-up and used it. I do miss having no tone on the middle, but... it's more important to have one on the bridge. Tnx for the help. Scott
