thats great i found mine in 1983 and havent changed a thing im lazy with knobs and settings,,,, i have just reiled on my own style to make up for a lot of stuff ,,,palm muting ..pick harmonics... i found by making your technique work for your sound is way better than all these cookie cutter bands out there now,,, a lot of them but not all of them have the same mundane sound,,,,, awwwww back in the 80s when you heard the first riff or solo you knew who it was ... van halen, rhoads, lynch, campbell, etc they all made their own tone work for them..... god i miss the 80s,,, now all i need is a great 80s chick to make me happy, any one out there know where i can find one?????

I find my tone occasionally, but then I loose it again. For example, I fired up my #1 pedal board last night, after playing my #2 for a couple of weeks, and yuck! WTH, my #1 board sounded dead. I'm hoping last night was just an off night.

Oh, congrats on finding your tone. I hope it stays a long time.

I only use a few pedals really. I have two pedals I build my base tone with, but then I have a few others that I sometimes put in in certain circumstances.

It's always a nice feeling when you find the right tone.

Are you looking for born in the 80's, or someone who remembers the 80's and likes it as much as you do? (fairly large difference )

Boy, I heard 'dat - I swear sometimes it's like the gremlins come in during the night and start twiddling knobs and messing with my settings - one day I'll catch one of the little ba$tards messing around inside my amp with a screwdriver...
