Scale maker

Seen a thread about a chord finder..

Here is one with a scale maker.

This has helped me so much as a player and just helping me understand the fretboard and music in general.

Pretty much between open and the 12 fret there are five positions, then it reapeats it self from the 12 to however far ya can go.

I print out the scales to work with but i put a line where the positions are for quick reading, try doing that .

An example, just play the red and black, those are the notes in the minor, add the "blue" note if desired.

They are like your 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ect. of a scale 1 being your root. Then if you look at your circle of fifths, and figure out what way the numbers go, youll be able to tell what notes are what based on the circle, within a key

Every hear of 1, 4 and 5 blues? thats what those numbers are

So based on this circle, key of c, just move the numbers to whatever key ya want

im not very good at explaining, how this helps. Its how i understand it
