installing tuners

Hey everyone! I need some help on this one........I need to install a set of six in line tuning pegs WITHOUT the tie down screws ( the fender pegs that only have the two guide posts on the back ) into a never-drilled replacement neck. I'm just wondering is there any kind of template available to make sure the holes are drilled perfectly? Any help would be hugely appreciated. It's a large 70's headstock strat replacement neck.
By the way, I'm pretty mechanically inclined and not afraid to work on my own guitars, but this one's kinda got me stumped!
Thanx,
Mark

I would search over at Stew-Mac and see if they have any templates. Hope this helps.
