Replacing an '88 trus rod...no biggie!!!!

Am currently replacing a truss rod in an '88 neck. Don't consider my self a luthier but no which end of a scredriver to use. Bought a neck off Ebay that someone had screwed the pooch on, half cut out the skunk stripe, used a chisel to access the truss rod nut, & generaly screwed it up. I can tell you with a good set of chisels, a hammer, scraps from a rosewood floor I laid, a truss rod from Bedez off Ebay, & some elbow grease, it's coming out okay. If anyone's interested I'd be glad to send them some pics of what's involved. By the way, I'm thinking of putting it on my '89 aluminum body. What a hoot!!

My future ex-wife seems to think so. I own a '77, a '79, a '79 anniversary, an '81 Smith special, an '84, an '86, an '88 (aluminum), a '91 Elite, a '92, a '96, a '98, an '02, an '03, & FINALLLY an '04. All American. In addition the other Fenders I own are a '66 Jaguar, a '66 Mustang, a '76 Mustang bass, a '76 P-bass, a '77 Fretless Jazz, a '96 Jazz, a '96 *** P'bass w/ a Jazz neck, & an '02 Precision Bass Special. The none Fenders are an '89 Les Paul Standard, an '83 Iceman, a Steinberger XL bass (an original solid graphite 1), an '83 Roland G77 midi bass, an '84 Roland 808 midi bass, an '87 Aria SB1100 Superbass, a '74 Guild (SG style bass), and sadly a Samick fretless 5 string no one's perfect). Sure would like to be able to play these damn things but I can't figure out which end to blow into to make the sound come out.
