Need help installing loaded pickguard

I may not get an answer soon enough to help but I'll try. I got my loaded HSS pickguard from GuitarFetish and I'm ready to install it but my old one was wired completely different so I dont know what to do. I've got two ground wires I guess which are black that are soldered to the back of the volume pot. Then there is one red wire that is connected to the middle leg of the volume pot. My old stuff had one ground wire going through to the trem and then one going to the output jack and then it was split into two connectors on the jack.

Does that mean that one black ground plus one red output goto the jack and the other black to the trem ground?

Red wire that is on the middle lug of your volume put is the hot wire output that and one the black wires should got to your guitar output. The remaining wire should got to your guitars body cavity.

You'll need to unsolder the one coming off your tremolo claw and solder onto volume pot.

Well I had to do some slight modifications to get the pickguard to drop in. I got it in and what I did was solder together the original wire soldered to the trem to one of the black wires soldered to the volume pot. I then took the other black one there plus the red hot wire to the jack. It works but I'm having a major grounding feedback issue. If I put one hand on any metal object it makes some ugly feedback sound and if I touch both the output jack wire and another metal part it cuts the feedback out. Either way the sounds from the strings still work. Any idea what I messed up?

You know the strange thing was the original pickups on this old squier had only a single wire coming out of them instead of 2.

Update...after thinking a little bit, I swapped the wires on the output jack and now theres no more ground feedback hooray! Now I gotta drill some holes for the screws since the holes dont line up and retune it up and it should be good to go.

Yea I already had a ground wire soldered there from the factory so I soldered one ground wire to the old wire that I cut from the stock pickguard when I removed it.

It seems to be working well. Now its got me wanting to grab another cheap Squier and do a double humbucker setup
