Custom Shop Parts Hot Rod Drop Top Convertible Bridge?

I am currently eyeballing the Custom Shop Parts Hot Rod Drop Top Convertible Bridge - MF has 'em for $50.... Anybody try one?

I want to improve the tone of the Saga part-weenie you see in my avatar, and since the body is too thin for a Callaham or other sustain block, that seems like it might be a way to go. I won't miss the vibrato... I have LOTS of other Strats for that!

Anybody have other ideas for an improvment to the bridge on the thinner Strat-clones?

Seems like you would have to add at least two new holes that wouldn't be hidden if you ever "converted" back.
