If it's a late '56 it's got the 10/56 profile which is a big soft V that softens more up the neck. I've got that profile on my Classic Player 50's and it's a real handful that I like.

If you think that's a handful, you should try a MIJ ST54 with a proper soft V neck. The Classic Player 50s neck is a skinny little thing.

Yes, correct. And true to vintage aspects as well. I find the '56 necks more comfortable than the blackguard necks from '54.

The 10/56 is only a name of a modern neck profile based on a real 10/'56 neck. All necks from '56 I had in my hands had the same characteristics. Soft V profile, rolled edges and chunky but not a baseball bat...

The CP50s neck is very nice and all, there should just be more of it. Same with the Custom Shop 56 model I tried.

There's also HLE Gold. Haynes Limited Edition, claimed to be the same as Homer Haynes' original all gold Stratocaster.

    Next to a Fender amp
That Strat is in great condition and I like the way it looks, but it would be not for me.
BTW, I agree the '56 necks are one great feeling necks. Most were made/ signed by XA, like my early '56 Strat, it's my favorite neck shape.
