Hello everyone, I have a 1984 Fender Stratocaster elite and I seriously need to find some replacement knobs for it. they have the black rubber on them. If anybody can help find someone that might have some for sale. I have searched and searched and can't find any.

My friend, I believe you may be **** out of luck. They do have solid brass (gold plated) bell knobs that wood look really nice but all I have to say is try to contact fender. I'm pretty unhopeful that they will be able to do anything, or care to do anything.

My advice: If you are truly in need of the knobs right away, find some temporary replacements that look good for the time being and keep your eye out. I have found that if I am patient, even the most obscure parts eventually make themselves available.

For knob purposes only, check out the Ibanez Sure Grip II/III's. Not sure if pot stems are different in any way, but if you didn't want the knob, you could just use the rubber grip.

I believe those grips may work...

I looked, but came up empty. Do you have a direct link to them?

Anyone tried adding those Ibanez grips to regular strat knobs?
