    It finally happened...

NGD!!!!! 1993 Fender Stratocaster Richie Sambora Floyd Rose USA in Arctic White with original tweedcase.

It's the holy grail guitar, at least for me ;)

I've been looking for a SE serial Sambora USA strat for years, but they were just too expensive.

This one is a player, which made it affordable for me.

The first thing I noticed, was how comfortable the neck felt... Just Amazing. Best Strat neck ever!!!
When I pulled the neck, there it was..... H. GASTELUM :D

    Thanks;)

    1 piece Maple neck
    12" radius
    Jumbo frets
    Star inlays
    Alder body
    Original Floyd Rose
    Dimarzio PAF Pro
    Texas Special single coils
    Active mid-boost

EDIT: Actually I am not sure about the neck radius... Some say 9,5, and some 12...???

EDIT: It feels like a 9,5" radius when I play the Guitar. With the jumbo frets, it is just super easy to bend the strings

I think he started playing Fender Custom shop Sambora signature Strats in the early 90's, and then in 1993, the first production models were available.

That is awesome!!!! Man you don't see too many of those. In fact, I have never!

There was a RS Kramer sig guitar with the three humbuckers on my local classified ads a while ago, he was asking $2500.......a bit steep for me but I always loved that Kramer too.

While not a huge Bon Jovi fan, Richie playing has always ben a great and tasty blend of many other signature styles. Though on a lot of his solo stuff and with Orianthi, he seems to prefer a more standard type SSS Strat. Great player and great guitar!

Kramer went under around late 1989/early 1990; it's an interesting story because it shows how quickly a company can go south. The owners primary owners of Kramer got involved in trying to produce concert tours (they staged and produced the Jacksons' Victory Tour) and got into financial difficulties. According to Sterling Ball they were withholding royalties to EVH - evidently his endorsement deal by that point in included a profit-share of the entire company revenue on top royalty on each Beretta instrument sold. The Balls became involved because Ernie Ball was producing the "EVH 5150" strings for Kramer (as a private label deal); EVH thought he wasn't getting proper string royalties, so he went to Sterling Ball and said he wanted an audit of the strings sales. Ball declined as Kramer, not EVH, was his customer. However, he suggested that EVH demand the audit from Kramer - then he would happily provide the auditors with the data on the strings shipped to Kramer. EVH demanded the audit from Kramer and found it was more than strings they were short-changing him on, so he demanded back payments and terminated his arrangement with Kramer, which in turn caused the company to go under.

Back to the original topic - very nice find there Fat Strat Rat. You don't see many Samboras at all - and I have typically seen the sunburst ones over the white ones
