Here's my beloved Strat (well, one of them...). From my Google research it's what I would describe as a 'marmite' guitar (people either love them or hate them) due to the era, method and quality to how they were made.
My thoughts? I love it and excusing the fact it needs cleaning, it's actually in excellent condition. It's surprisingly light and I'm not sure what wood the body is made from? It's a dream to play and sounds great and it has the smoothest, springiest tremolo I've played. I'm not sure about the TBX and I think I prefer having a standard tone pot for the bridge or Master tone set up.
The colour with the rosewood neck is awesome!
Your thoughts please or any info regarding it's manufacture or the type of wood the body could be would be most appreciated! 20190613_164600.jpg 20190613_164620.jpg 20190613_164804.jpg 20190613_164820.jpg 20190613_164946.jpg

Cool color - almost like a cross between Seafoam Green and Ocean Turquoise.

They are quite rare especially with the rosewood neck. If you google the colour most of the strats had a maple neck or the guitar had a Rosewood neck but with lace sensor pickups (the Stratocaster plus models).

So, you’re saying this one with a rosewood neck doesn’t?

Well.. nice looking Strat, but the chances are its construction is the same as my later 1997 AM Standard.. and that's five or six pieces of Poplar. The Sunbursts were veneered both sides..

I “really really like” it, but can’t say I “love” it.

In other words; I think it’s very cool but I’m not feeling a need to have one myself...

In some photo's, the color looks pretty close to my 2017 American Special.
