You have to show us photos - you're asking for us to identify a guitar without even seeing it...which is impossible

Which might well be why I have found this thread confusing from page one...

I’m not sure why you’re still being a dingus to OP.

Multiple photos of the gold hardware models have been posted.

Multiple photos of the tuners OP’s referring to have been posted.

They’re the Schaller Elite Gold Pearloid tuners on the 2nd page that I posted. The knobs are Pearloid, so not metal. That’s what OP means by “plastic” or whatever you all keep harping at OP about.

I'm being matter-of-fact, not wanting to beat around the bush....very direct....not at all rude :)

The thing is, if somebody posts asking for us to identify their guitar, and doesn't post photos of their actual guitar....we can't identify it. The OP's guitar is probably a regular 2014 American Standard with changed out tuners....

    I don’t think you’re understanding the OP.

OP bought a 2014 Standard with a 60th Anni plate and was asking why it didn’t come with the gold hardware and “plastic” tuning knobs. It had chrome everything. Saying “plastic” and “American standard” anywhere near each other got everyone all riled up on the first page (because American standards would never have such lesser quality), resulting in everyone wanting pics of the tuners in question, and the “plastic” knobs, which are Pearloid.

Page 2 - many pics posted of the actual Anni Commemerative Strat with gold hardware and tuners, to show OP what they were thinking they got.

Yet here you are, asking for pics of their guitar or the guitar and gold hardware they’re wondering about like it wasn’t addressed.

Let me know if I missed anything?

The OP believes his guitar is a special limited edition 60th Anniversary Strat....

We still don't know if it is or isn't....at all....

    It's that simple...

Yes, the OP is asking about gold hardware with plastic/pearloid buttons, but never does he say if his have those buttons, and is basically asking us if his is an anniversary model or not....

Dude.. re read the first post.

He said his Strat has chrome hardware and is wondering why because all the pics he’s seen of the anni Strat has gold hardware and pearl tuners.

Guitar is 90% likely a standard with the neck plate. With no gold hardware it’s definitely not the commemorative Strat.

It could even be a fake, we haven't seen his guitar yet

Given that the OP described it as:

2014(60th Stratocaster Anniversary Series) Fender American Standard Stratocaster MN Olympic White

its pretty clear it was not the commemorative edition since that only came in sunburst, so the answer is that he got a regular American Standard.

My 60th anniversary limited run 54 American Vintage strat... one of a total of 1954 units produced doesn’t have the 60th anniversary neckplate

    Hi,
I did post two pictures showing the Chrome neck plate with the anniversary stamp and the rest of the Chrome hardware.

Right, so it looks like you have a regular 2014 American Standard Strat - not any special limited anniversary model....

Yes gold bling looks great on a burst Strat.

This thread would still have been a lot shorter & a lot clearer if we had been shown the entire guitar in the first few posts - then we would all have understood what we were dealing with. That's what most people on here do.....
