    Decided to sell my 65RI Twin Reverb and get something a bit more manageable. I.e. not as loud and not as heavy. Still had to have a 2x12 though...:rolleyes:

    Had to pay another $300 besides the trade-in but I think it was worth it.

    Cool! I have the older version of the Marshall and love it. Give us a good review of the Bassbreaker. I'm considering the 18/30 version.

    Did you try the Fx loop on the Bassbreaker? Do you have a Hum??

    I've got the Bassbreaker 18/30. It's a hell of an amp. Loads of headroom, amazing with pedals. Perfect for gigging but possibly a little overpowered for home use. Downside? Just one - no built in reverb. Cured that with a HoF and a T2 by TC Electronics. Well worth the investment.
