    This reminds me that maybe I should run my serial number for my AVRI '62. I've not even taken the pickguard or neck off. Too busy playing it.

    Definitely, get a qualified person. Companies like Music-go-Round, have an on-site person who researches incoming guitars, place a value on; so they can accurately tag it for the sale .... to the probable customer.

    But do they know what they're talking about? We hear so many tales on here of various "professionals" who wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a Fender Stratocaster & a kipper on a plate. It's better to lean for yourself by paying attention on here.
