I have recently rediscovered my old BOSS CH-1 pedal. For a while now I've been dry.......playing very little effects.......or at least little chorus.

Well, I put it back in the chain not to long ago, and I have fell back in love with it. I used to think it was only good for clean sounds, being a modulation effect but I am mistaken.....it adds flavour to my overdrive......a touch on that violin tone IMO!

I had fun cranking my Les Paul earlier today

I like to turn the level and depth all the way up with the tone at noon and the rate all the way down.....kinda acts like a doubler.

A touch? No way...crank it up! Chorus + Distortion go together like chocolate and peanut butter :thumb:

Love me some chorus. It's great for those times when your looking to play some classic New Wave tones. Can't say I use it much with my OD pedals etc, but I do use the dimension and overtone effects on the MD-500, which can get rather wicked at times when used with OD.

How can you play anything from the 80’s without chorus?

Chorus was my only effect for years. Still one of go to effects since I really discovered Phaser and Flange.

Can never go wrong with a touch of chorus.

My two mainstays have always been a compressor and a chorus. I switched to the MXR Analog Chorus about 4 years ago. I really like this one.
