    Hi All,
I'm looking to transport a couple of Strats, dissembled in a suitcase to Hawaii. Since they are not with me right now, and trying to size up existing luggage, I'm wondering about the length from Heel to top of the Headstock.

While searching the internet all I can find is info explaining Scale Length.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could slap a tape measurer next to their neck and let me know what they find.

    Thanks

heel to top of headstock, 25 ⅞ ths.... but you don't want it in there so snug both ends rub... allow a few inches to accommodate bubble wrap, etc.,... AND note, some plastic can react with the finish on the neck.. so wrap in Mylar... or a cotton rag . . . then the plastic protection.

and as you can see, they aren't all the same.... give it some room...
