This was a rescue.Added the Bigsby,a p90, and covered the top in paisley.A set of sperzel locking tuners helps with tuning stability. Not perfect, but sounds great.
Chet Atkins Player's Edition:
THAT is a beautiful thing.
Here's my 6129, taking a vacation with it's relatives
I have two: a 5120 and a White Falcon
Love this thread. Great guitars, good pics.
The electrics have been well represented so I'll give another acoustic. This is the G106, the neck is unbelievable, great player.
get that DAW going so we can hear that thing!
I have the DAW figured out and am trying to get VSCD for video set up. Looks like I have to pay for it as the free demo wont save it. Then I have to figure out what format and were to save it. Almost there tunes a comin,..
My apoligies to all for the sidetrack....
PS...love the Gretch
My 2008 5120 and 2018 5420 Electromatics. The 5120 was a wreck that I picked up for $300. Replaced the broken tailpiece and fixed the stripped strap lug. It was filthy when I got it. After the repair and a good polish, it looks great! The action is nice and low and I can play that one for hours without getting tired. I was originally going to flip it, but once the repair was done, I fell in love with it. The white 5420 I bought new.
I had a resonator for a bit but sold it about a month ago. I liked it, but with 16 other guitars, I decided I need to thin the herd a bit.
I've never seen anything more beautiful. @evangilder white guitar on the right is running a close second...
here are two... both of which I sadly let go. I may have to rectify that soon.
I have Falcon dreams on a Streamliner budget.
I traded the G6120 last week, on an American Special Strat. It was my last Gretsch, because I can't bond with the thin necks. I like the sound and the looks, but I don't like to play them. For what it's worth, I liked the MIK G3161 as much as the pro-line.
Pro Jet I got yesterday
